French-born Ghanaian striker Grejohn Kyei registered his first-ever goal for Royal Charleroi SC in their big win over Beerschot in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League on Sunday.
Royal Charleroi SC celebrated their 120th anniversary with a resounding 3-0 home win over their opponent in the match-week seven clash at the Stade du Pays de Charleroi.
Belgium international Daan Heymans opened the scoring for the host in the 17th minute to end the first half with a 1-0 lead.
Just three minutes into the second half , Kyei doubled their advantage after capitalizing on a defensive error of the visitors to calmly strike from close range.
On the 58th minute, Antoine Bernier sealed their victory with his fine strike to make their 120th anniversary memorable at the Stade du Pays de Charleroi.
Kyei joined the Black and White lads on a season-long loan deal from Standard Liège in the summer transfer window.
He has made three appearances so far with a goal to his credit.
