Ghanaian forward King Baidoo has signed a one-year contract extension with Southern League Premier Division South club Gloucester City, the club have announced.

The striker, who joined up with the Meadow Park campaigners in the summer of 2025, has lived up to his expectations at the Hempsted-based club, with such impressive outings now moving the management to hand him a fresh term for the 2026/27 football season.

Announcing the new deal over a renewal with the Ghanaian forward, the English lowly division club have said via their micro-blogging platform X (Twitter): ''King Baidoo signs for 2026/2027 season. Gloucester City AFC are delighted to announce that we have retained the services of forward King Baidoo for the upcoming season. We can't wait to see Kingy donning the red and yellow once again next season.''
