Ghanaian forward Ragnar Ache climbed off the bench to score when FC Kaiserslautern defeated FC Nuremberg in the DFB Pokal round of 16.
FC Kaiserslautern booked themselves a ticket to the next round of the German DFB Pokal with a 2-0 resounding home win over FC Nuremberg at the Fritz Walter Stadion.
After lack of goals in the first half, Richmond Tachie popped up with the opening goal in the 75th minute of the game.
Tachie aided his compatriot Ragnar Ache to notch up the second goal, just three minutes after registering the opener.
Ache was introduced into the fixture as replacement for Terrence Boyd in the 64th minute of the game.
He and Richmond Tachie were both to Ghanaian parents in Germany and eligible to play for the Black Stars of Ghana.
Ache has scored seven goals in 11 matches for FC Kaiserslautern across all competitions in his debut season at the club.
He joined them from German Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt in a deal worth one million euros during the last summer transfer window.
