Ghanaian midfielder Bernard Mensah made an impressive debut for Al Riyadh in their exhilarating 3-3 draw against Al-Wehda in the Saudi Pro League on Thursday evening.
Substituted in at halftime, Mensah made an immediate impact by scoring a header in the 51st minute and also providing an assist.
His contributions were crucial in a match that saw Al-Wehda initially take the lead through Craig Goodwin in the 40th minute.
Despite Al Riyadh's challenging situation, including a red card for Hussain Al Nowaiqi in the 59th minute, they managed to equalize twice.
Ibrahim Bayesh scored for Al Riyadh in the 85th minute, but a late goal from Murad Khadhari ensured the points were shared.
Although Al-Wehda controlled possession and shots, Al Riyadh's resilience, bolstered by Mensah's standout performance, earned them a valuable point.
Al Riyadh will look to build on this result when they face Al Kholood on August 29th.
