Italian Serie C side, Unione Sportiva Pianese have cashed in on central midfielder Moses Odjer, who has joined Ascoli Calcio 1898 on a permanent deal.

This move comes towards the end of a busy January transfer window, having put-pen-to-paper on a one-year contract, which will keep him at the club until June 30, 2026.

Odjer only moved to Pianese in August 2024, joining from Calcio Foggia 1920 - another Serie C club.

Ascoli approached Pianese with a view to signing Odjer permanently and a deal has now been struck to take the 28-year-old to central Italy.

Announcing his arrival, the club said: "L’Ascoli Calcio 1898 FC S.p.A. informs that they have definitively acquired from Pianese the sporting performance of Moses Odjer.

"Arrives in black and white a midfielder of undisputed experience, with over 130 appearances in Serie B (of which 113 in four and a half years at Salernitana) and as well in Serie C with Palermo, Foggia and Pianese, a club from which in the first part of the season he scored two goal and an assist.

"The Black and White Club warmly welcomes Moses Odjer, who will wear shirt number 33."

Odjer recently acquired his Italian passport, and during his time with Ghana's national U20 team he made 10 appearances and scored 2 goals.
