The 27-year-old completed his transfer loan move to the German Third-Tier outfit on transfer deadline from his Dutch top-flight employers
German 3.Liga side VfL Osnabrück have announced the loan signing of Ghanaian winger Braydon Manu from Dutch Eredivisie side PEC Zwolle until the end of the current campaign.
The former St. Pauli U17 youth man, who joined the Dutch elite division side on a two-year deal during the summer transfer window, has struggled for form so far this season, hence his loan move this winter.
An excerpt of an official confirmation over the transfer loan deal of the ex-SV Darmstadt 98 winger read: ''Shortly before the end of the winter transfer window of the 2024/25 season, VfL Osnabrück has made one last transfer: The purple and white team have loaned offensive player Braydon Manu from PEC Zwolle until the end of the current season.''
Manu had this to say right after signing on the dotted lines via the club's official website: ''I already know VfL from the duels with Halle and Darmstadt and of course I also saw that the team found its way back to success before the winter break and has continued to do so since the break. I now want to do my part to ensure that it stays that way and that we get as many points as possible together in order to avoid relegation at the end of the season."
Sporting director Dr. Michael Welling added: ''After Braydon Manu, we started looking at possible winter transfers quite early on. We are very happy that we were able to take action again shortly before the transfer window closed. The internal group is in agreement on the sporting assessment: Braydon has proven his qualities in attack both in the 3rd division and in the 2nd Bundesliga. He knows our current game system very well from his time in Darmstadt and can be used in a variety of ways, which expands our options in attack.
Prior to his loan switch, he featured in 3 games across all competitions for PEC Zwolle in this current 2024-25 football campaign.
The German-born Ghanaian winger is yet to make his debut outing with the Ghana men's senior national team, the Black Stars after switching nationality allegiance to play for the west African powerhouse in 2022.
