Former Ghanaian youth international, Moses Odjer has completed a move to Italian Serie C side Ascoli Calcio in the just-closed winter transfer window.

The 28-year-old sealed the move on the final day of the window and signed a year deal with an extending option included in the agreement between both parties depending on his performance.

Official club statement reads;

"Ascoli Calcio 1898 FC SpA announces that it has definitively acquired the sporting services of Moses Odjer from Pianese. A midfielder with undisputed experience arrives in black and white, with over 130 appearances in Serie B (including 113 in the four and a half years at Salernitana) and the same number in Serie C with Palermo, Foggia and Pianese, the clubs he comes from with which in the first part of the season he scored two goals and an assist."

The experienced midfielder is expected to bring in wealth of experience to help the Woodpeckers revive their season as they currently sit in tenth position in the Group B table with 30 points after 25 matches.

Moses Odjer was an integral member of the Black Satellites squad that finished third at the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup held in Turkey.

The former Tema Youth star recently became an Italian citizen officially after spending over a decade plying his trade with six different clubs in the European country.
