Ghana U20 midfielder Prince Kwabena Adu scored for Viktoria Plzeň on his Europa League debut although the Czech outfit drew 3-3 with German side Eintracht Frankfurt.
Adu's form has been exceptional. In the clash against Frankfurt, he was instrumental in Viktoria's attacking play.
He underscored his creativity and playmaking abilities. The 20-year-old won both of his aerial duels and five out of 9 ground duels, displaying his tenacity throughout the match on Thursday night at the Deutsche Bank Park.
Frankfurt started strong, putting early pressure on Viktoria goalkeeper, Martin Jedlička, who was forced to concede in the 38th minute from Hugo Ekitike's shot.
However, the Czech side managed to equalise three minutes later through Pavel Šulc despite early dominance from their German opponents.
After halftime, Frankfurt's Junior Dina Ebimbe and Rasmus Kristensen scored two quick goals in the 62nd and 67th minutes, respectively.
However, Viktoria responded, thanks to Prince Kwabena Adu's effort in the 86th minute that found its way into the net to make it 3-2.
Left-back Václav Jemelka dusted-it-off to complete his sde's draw stalemate, with his final chance in the dying embers of the game - as it ended on level pecking (3-3).
