ENGLAND

Starting as usual from England, Kudus Mohammed was introduced in the second half but his side West Ham United unfortunately lost 1-3 at home to champions Manchester City. 

Jordan Ayew played only 37 minutes for Crystal Palace over the weekend in their 3-1 away loss at Aston Villa. His compatriot Jeffrey Schlupp lasted the entire duration.

Tariq Lamptey put up a man of the match performance for Brighton and Hove Albion over the weekend in their 1-3 win over giants Manchester United at Old Trafford.

He assisted Pascal Gross and Jao Pedro to set up their second and third goals in the game. Antoine Semenyo wasn't in action for AFC Bournemouth in their hard-earned draw against Chelsea last Sunday afternoon at the Vitality Stadium.

In the Championship, Kamaldeen Sulemana on his return from injury was red carded in Southampton's disappointing 1-4 home loss to Leicester City. Abdul Fatawu Issahaku was brought on in the second half for the winning side.

In the English League 1, Andy Yiadom enjoyed full throttle for Reading in their slim 2-1 win Bolton Wanderers at the Majeski Stadium.

Kwame Poku played only 45 minutes for Peterborough United in their 1-1 draw with Leyton Orient in the same league.

SPAIN

Joseph Aidoo was an unused substitute for Celta Vigo in their painful 0-1 home loss to Real Mallorca in the Spanish Laliga last Saturday.

At San Mamerse Barrier, Inaki Williams was on target for Athletic Bilbao in their 3-0 victory over Cadiz. He went on to play full throttle.

Iddrisu Baba played 15 minutes in UD Almeria's 2-1 defeat to Villarreal at the Estadio la Ceramica.

In the Spanish Segunda B, ex- Kotoko striker Dauda Mohammed played 58 minutes for Tenerife but lost 2-1 away at Sporting Gijon.

ITALY

In Italy, Alfred Duncan provided an assist in AFC Fiorentina's 3-2 win over Atalanta at the Estadio Artemio Franchi Ferrenzi.

Emmanuel Gyasi was an unused substitute for Empoli in their embarrassing 7-0 defeat to Jose Mourinho's AS Roma.

FRANCE

Salis Abdul Samed in France, enjoyed another full time action for RC Lens in their painful 0-1 home loss to FC Metz.

Another JMG Academy graduate Alidu Seidu also played full time but unfortunately his side Clermont Foot lost 0-1 at home to FC Nantes.

In the French Ligue 2, Gideon Mensah played 90 minutes whiles Elisha Owusu also enjoyed 46 minutes of action for AJ Auxerre in their 2-2 draw with FC Pau.

Nicholas Opoku also started at the back for Amien SC but unfortunately lost 3-0 away at Paris FC in the capital.

GERMANY

Both Stephan Ambrosius and Ransford Yeboah Konigsdorffer were all introduced in the second half for Hamburger SV in their 2-1 away loss at Elversberg.

Jan Gyamerah lasted full time for FC Nuremberg in their one all home draw with Greuther Furth, also in the German Bundesliga.

HOLLAND

In the Dutch Eredivise, AZ Alkmaar continued with their fine form and perfect start after beating Sparta Rotterdam by 2-0 over the weekend. Both Ibrahim Sadiq and Ernest Opoku were all introduced in the game on the 72ns minute.

Kamal Sowah has started life very well at his new club Standard Liege, having scored in their emphatic 1-3 away win over KAS Eupen in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League. Goalkeeper Abdul Manaf Nurudeen was an unused substitute for the host.

BELGIUM

Joseph Paintsil returned from injury on a blistering note and provided an assist in KRC Genk's 0-2 away win over Union St Gilloise.

Francis Amuzu took part in RSC Anderlecht's 2-2 away draw at Kortrijk last Saturday. Majeed Ashimeru was out of action due to injury. In the Turkish Super Ligue.

TURKEY

Alexander Djiku made a cameo appearance for Fenerbahce in their 3-2 home win over Antalyaspor.

Kingsley Schindler- who just debuted for the Black Stars, enjoyed 83 minutes of action for Samsunspor in their 4-2 away loss at Galatasaray.

Joseph Attamah Larweh also lasted the entire duration for Kayserispor in their 2-0 win over Gaziantep.

SWEDEN

In the Swedish Allsvenskan, Ghanaian trio Naeem Mohammed, Thomas Boakye and Phil Ofosu Aryeah all featured for Halmstads BK in their 3-2 away loss at BK Hacken.

Michael Baidoo also enjoyed full time action but his side Elfsborg lost 0-3 at home to Kalmar FF. Ex- WAFA and Aduana Stars midfielder Emmanuel Boateng was also introduced in the second half.

DENMARK

Young sensation Ibrahim Osman- who just signed with Adidas, also saw full time action for FC Norsdjaelland in their 2-2 draw with FC Copenhagen at the Right to Dream Park.

AUSTRIA

In Austria, Samson Baidoo scored for RB Salzburg in their 2-2 away draw at Sturm Graz. The host brought on Mohammed Fuseini in the dying embers of the game. Amankwah Forson warmed the bench fotr RB Salzburg.

Former WAFA attacking midfielder Augustine Boakye registered an assist in Wolfsberger AC 3-3 away draw with Rapid Wien

GREECE

Lanky lateral Baba Rahman recovered from his minor knock to play full time for FC PAOK in their 0-0 draw with Aris in the Greek topflight.

SWITZERLAND

In the Swiss Cup, goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi was an unused substitute in FC ST Gallen's 1-2 away defeat to Delemont to exit the competition in round of 16.

Emmanuel Essiam finally debuted for his new club Lausanne Ouchy in their 1-2 victory over Wil to cruise into the next stage.

SERBIA

In Serbia, FK Cuckariki exhibited a majestic performance to beat champions Red Star Belgrade 2-1 over the weekend.

Osman Bukari played 45 minutes whiles Edmund Addo wasn't in the squad. Samuel Owusu was also an unused substitute for the victors.

USA

In the Major League Soccer, Harrison Afful warmed the bench in FC Charlotte's 0-0 draw with DC United.

Jonathan Mensah lasted the entire duration for San Jose Earthquakes who recorded a precious 2-1 win over Real Salt Lake at home.

Lalas Abubakar was not in the match-day squad for Colorado Rapids in their vital 2-1 win over New England Revolution.
