Former Ghana youth international Ibrahim Sadiq made his first-ever appearance for AZ Alkmaar in the Dutch Eredivisie against Sparta Rotterdam on Sunday.

Sadiq climbed off the bench on the 72nd minute to mark his debut for the AFAS Stadion outfit in their 2-0 home win over Sparta Rotterdam.

Two quick first half goals from Dani De Wit and Vangelis Pavlidis on the 18th and 19th minute respectively ensured AZ Alkmaar to another victory to extend their unbeaten streak to four games.

Sadiq joined AZ Alkmaar on a five-year contract from Swedish Allsvenskan club BK Hacken in the just ended summer transfer window.

He notched up thirteen (13) goals and provided four assists in 18 matches for BK Hacken before exiting the club for a transfer fee around the region of €4 million.
