Mavis Owusu, the prolific striker of the Black Queens, made a significant impact on the Saudi Arabian football scene, leading Al Hilal Women to a resounding 4-0 victory over Al Suqur.
Demonstrating her exceptional talent, Owusu secured a remarkable hat-trick, scoring three goals that resonated throughout the stadium. This stellar performance contributed to Al Hilal Women's triumph in the Saudi Women's FA Cup.
Since her move from Ghanaian champions Ampem Darkoa Ladies in October, Owusu has been in outstanding form. The recent game marked her first career hat-trick in Saudi Arabia, and she expressed her gratitude on social media, saying, "I'm very much grateful to God for my first hat trick in the Saudi league FA Cup and for the 3 points victory."
Al Hilal Women is now one of the eight teams remaining in the competition, joining Al Fawz, Al Shabab, Al-Ahly, Al-Qadisiyah, Eastern Flame, Al Riyadh, and Al-Ittihad.
