Ghanaian youngster Prince Amoako Jnr emerged as the hero for FC Nordsjælland after scoring the decisive goal in their 2-1 away triumph over FC Copenhagen on Saturday, 14 February 2026 in the Danish Superliga.
The 18-year-old produced a moment of brilliance, capitalizing on a quick transition to hand his side all three points in a fiercely contested encounter.
Amoako Jnr’s match-winning strike came after he reacted sharply near the edge of his own penalty area, intercepting a goal-bound attempt before launching a rapid counterattack. Showing pace and composure, he surged forward and finished with a low right-footed effort that found the back of the net.
The goal marked his sixth of the season in 19 appearances, underlining his growing influence in Nordsjaelland’s attack since his promotion from the Right to Dream Academy.
Nordsjaelland gained a numerical advantage late in the game when Copenhagen defender Birger Meling was sent off in the 70th minute after receiving a second yellow card.
With the hosts reduced to ten men, the visitors maintained control and held on to secure an important away victory, with Amoako Jnr’s strike proving the difference on the night.
