The Ghana U23 defender has been drafted into the main team ranks of the Danish top-flight outfit ahead of the new football campaign
Ghanaian teenager Eugene Amankwah has been promoted to Aalborg BK first-team for the 2024/25 Danish Superliga contest.
The 19-year-old together with his youth team-mate Amar Diagne were both elevated to the senior squad ranks of the Aalborg Stadium outfit given their splendid showings during the off-season preparatory game outings.
Sporting director James Gow said the duo "have seized their chance and shown they have the ability and mentality to compete at this level. Therefore, it is natural for them to take the next step now" as they hope for both of them to excel in their debut top-flight campaign.
Eugene Amankwah and Amar Diagne will be wearing shirts number 35 and 37 respectively for AaB next season.
The budding stopper joins AaB from Ghanaian lower division side Benab FC in August 2023.
