The promising teenage sensation has talked about his aspirations with his new side in the just started Latvian second-tier contest after linking up with them from his Ghanaian lowly division outfit
Ghanaian teenager Prince Appiah Amoah has outlined his ambitions with Latvian First League club FK Metta after joining up with them from Ghana Division Two League side MSK Zilina Africa FC.

The 18-year-old, who came close to sealing a move with Swedish elite division side Djurgårdens IF, has now made a transfer switch to the lowly division side for the 2026 football season.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Kickgh via phone call from his base in Latvia, the talented attacking starlet has said his greatest motivation with his current employers is to help them secure qualification to the Premiership at the end of the just commenced campaign.

He told Kickgh.com: ''First of all, l would like to give thanks to the almighty God for making this transfer move a successful one. The reason behind this appreciation is very necessary on my part because, right after every process towards the deal, everything was achieved smoothly and to me, it is very imperative to really show my gratitude to God for making the deal a successful one once again.''
''And again, l could say this is a dream come true for me because considering my age as a teenager and me who is about to begin his journey in Europe at the early stages of my footballing career, l could only sound positive as l have a lot of time in front of me to make progress in my playing career to the next level and hopeful playing in the leading Europe's elite division competitions.''

He added on his aspirations with the Riga-based club after joining them at the early part of the season: ''With the kind of rigorous training sessions and drills that have been taking place at the training grounds since l arrived, l could clearly see that the team are aiming for promotion at the end of the season. So right now, my main objective is to also work hard and push for their promotion cause in order to be part of the history as each and everyone starting from the technical team and playing body around the club are all working hard towards achieving this ambition.''

The budding starlet, who has so far netted 2 goals in 4 friendlies, is yet to make his debut in the league following the Fifa international window.
Prince remains a prospect for the Ghana national football teams given his talent as an upcoming youth player.
