Following an extended period of injury absence, Ghanaian defender Nathaniel Adjei has resumed training with FC Lorient. 

 

Adjei enjoyed a fantastic tenure at the club prior to his untimely injury. He joined the Orange Boys in the January transfer window after leaving Hammarby IF.

 

The 21-year-old guardian's final game of the 2022–2023 season was a 3-1 home loss to Olympique Marseille in Lorient's penultimate match.

 

Adjei's hard work over the summer break and return to Lorient's training facility have shown that he is committed to getting back into top form.

 

Les Merlus, who are gearing up for a rigorous schedule in the French football league's second division, depend on his comeback.

Given his dedication and the support of the medical staff, Adjei's return gives Lorient FC supporters cause for optimism.

 

Adjei missed the entire preseason, hence it is anticipated that he will miss Lorient's opening Ligue 2 match of the 2024–2025 season against FC Martigues on August 19.

 

He might, however, play for the first team again on August 24 against Grenoble Foot 38 in the season's second game.

 

After the team's relegation to Ligue 2, Adjei will work under new coach Olivier Pantaloni, who took Regis Le Bris' place
