Clinton Dombila is in his third season at FC Ararat Yerevan currently and his previous two campaigns has been nothing but excellence and due to his immense contribution, the club has named him as their new third captain with immediate effect.
Having arrived in Armenia’s capital Yerevan in the summer of 2023, the 20-year-old has been very impressive and very professional both on and off the pitch as it didn’t take any long to become one of the supporters favourite at the Republican Stadium.
Despite starting from the youth side, the JMG Academy graduate at just 18 then, was always in the thick of things and consistently delivered top-tier performances which eventually earned him a permanent first team invite in just six months.
He’s serged on to make 39 appearances in the IDBank Premier League so far for the White Eagles and was adjudged the club’s Player of the Year after the 2024/25 season

He gets to deputize the main captain Artur Grigoryan and first deputy Albert Khachumyan from henceforth
Clinton, has made only one appearance this season and that was their opening game against FC Gandzasar as he is currently nursing a hamstring injury hoping to shake it off quickly and return to action as soon as possible
FC Ararat Yerevan has been in existence for 90 years now and won the Armenian topflight championship in 1993 and are six-time Armenian Cup champions. Their best ever run in the UEFA Champions League, then European Cup, was in the 1974/75 season, where they suffered a 2-1 on aggregate loss to eventual winners FC Bayern Munchen in the quarter-final stage.
