Ghanaian midfielder David Abagna has been named in the Cypriot First Division's team of match-week 14 recognizing his outstanding performance.
David Abagna played a key role for APOEL as they secured a 2-0 home win over EN Paralimni in the Cypriot league.
The midfielder's impressive display began as early as the 13th minute, when he scored the opening goal. He then turned provider, assisting Anastasios Donis in the 22nd minute to double APOEL's lead.
Abagna's outstanding performance earned him the MVP award for the match and secured his spot in the Team of the week.
David Abagna has been a stalwart for his club, featuring in 13 of their 14 league matches and averaging an impressive 85 minutes per game. The midfield dynamo has chipped in with 1 goal and 2 assists, helping his team to 5th place in the standings with 24 points from 14 games.
Before venturing abroad, David Abagna had stints with several local clubs, including Wa All Stars (Legon Cities FC), Ashanti Gold SC and Real Tamale United.
