Ghanaian youngster, Forson Amankwah has signed a new contract extension with Austrian giants Red Bull Salzburg following his explosive start to the ongoing season.
The 20-year-old after an impressive spell with Ghanaian side WAFA, joined the Red Bulls in 2021 in a contract that runs until 2025.
After an impressive first two years, he's had the option to extend for another two years which means he is now tied down at the Red Bull Arena until 2027.
The mercurial winger, was sent out on a season long loan in his first two years, having featured for clubs like Liefering and Rheindorf Altach, and was really impressive with his stellar display which earned him a return to his parent-club.
On his return to Red Bull Salzburg, Amankwah has started the season on a blistering note and is already involved in six goals; four goals and two assists in twelve matches in all competitions so far this season.
Forson Amankwah has never featured for any of the Ghana national teams and will definitely hope for Black Stars invite in future.
