AC Milan midfielder, Yunus Musah, is eagerly anticipating the international friendly against Ghana, the homeland of his parents.
The 20-year-old, born to Ghanaian parents in New York, was eligible to play for the Ghanaian national team, known as the Black Stars. However, Musah, a former England youth international, chose to represent the United States.
Musah expressed the significance of the match: "It's really special because a lot of people from the Ghanaian community will be watching the game, knowing I was eligible to play for Ghana, and I have roots from there, so it's a special game." He also noted, "I have a lot of family as well from Ghana, and they are all going to be watching."
The United States is approaching the game against Ghana following a defeat to Germany, and Musah believes that the Ghana match will offer a completely different challenge. He mentioned, "They are different teams, obviously. Different qualities, and as I said, Germany is a completely different team from Ghana, so we are trying to analyze them and trying to bounce back from the Germany game."
Yunus Musah recently made a move to AC Milan during the summer transfer window from Valencia.
