Ghanaian international midfielder, Furkan Ahmed has been transferred to UAE first division side Masfoot Sports and Cultural Club on a season long loan from his parent club Emirates FC.

This is his second loan spell since joining the giants, having spent another loan spell with Hatta Sports Club last season and played a vital role in helping them win the first division championship to make a sensational return into the topflight.

The lanky middleman knows it all and has so much experience and exposure when it comes to UAE second-tier after leading Hatta Sports Club to the title in the last campaign- winning it for the second time in his career, with first happening with Emirates Club in the 2020/21 season.

The 22 year old has been consistent and very impressive in terms of performance, with injuries being his only major headache and will hope for a season-free injury this time around.

He will definitely set sights on another brighter start in Ajman in order to establish himself as a mainstay and an important figure in the team.

Furkan and his new teammates just returned from the first phase of their preseason in Serbia and will also be training intensively for the 2023/24 season which starts next month.
