Ghanaian forward Frank Acheampong has signed for Chinese Super League side Dalian Yingbo FC ahead of the 2026 season.
The 32-year-old who is a finalist with Ghana at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, joins Dalian as a free agent after leaving Henan FC at the end of the 2025 campaign, bringing his time with the Red Devils to a close.
Acheampong enjoyed a stellar final season at Henan, scoring 14 goals and registering three assists. He also played an important role in Henan’s run to the Chinese FA Cup final last season, although they lost 3-0 to champions Beijing Guoan.
Henan wanted him to stay and offered him a new contract, but the former RSC Anderlecht winger chose to move on and take up a new challenge, with Dalian Yingbo working to strengthen their team for the coming season.
