Ghanaian international striker, Emmanuel Boateng was in the thick of affairs last night for Gaziantep FK in their 3-1 win over Eyüpspor in the Turkish Super Lig.

The former Levante hitman, who just joined in the last transfer window, didn't make the starting XI but was brought on right at the start of the second half to replace Turkish player Halil Dervisoglu.

The 28-year-old with an instant impact having opened the scoring account in just six minutes into his introduction to put Gaziantep ahead.

The visitors equalised through Tayful Bingöl but Boateng scored again in the 78th minute to restore their lead before Nigerian international David Okereke wrapped up the win in the dying embers.

His countryman Prince Obeng Ampem also lasted 83 minutes in the game for Eyüpspor. 

Reacting to his brace, he thanked his teammates and described the moment as a very good one as he shifts his focus to their next game. 

"When you are grateful, fear disappears and abundance appears. Great team work, thanks to my teammates for this good moment, up unto the next game," he posted on Instagram.

Gaziantep FK after the win have climbed up to the tenth position in the table with 32 points and will travel to Besiktas in the next round of matches.
