Ghanaian forward Hafiz Wontah Konkoni has signed with Ethiopian Coffee SC on a two-year contract, leaving Tanzanian giants Yanga SC.
Konkoni, who spent last season on loan at Libyan club Olympic Azzaweya, initially joined Yanga SC during the summer transfer window from Bechem United. However, his time in Tanzania was plagued by injuries, limiting his impact at the club.
Despite his challenges, Konkoni managed to make five appearances for Yanga SC, scoring twice—once in the Tanzanian league on his debut and another in the CAF Champions League.
Ethiopian Coffee SC has brought in the Ghanaian forward to strengthen their attacking lineup, hoping his addition will enhance their offensive capabilities for the remainder of the season.
