The 21-year-old forward of Ghanaian origin has completed his transfer move to the Belgian second-tier side from his Canadian mother club
Belgian Challenger Pro League side RWD Molenbeek have signed Canadian -born Ghanaian forward Kwasi Poku from Canadian Premier League outfit Forge FC.
The former Toronto FC Academy product is linking up with the relegated Belgian top-tier side on a three-year deal following his successful medical examinations.
Those in charge of the Edmond Machtens Stadium confirmed the deal via their X official handle.
Before joining his new side this summer, Poku netted 8 and provided 2 assists in 17 games for Forge FC in this current CanPL2024 campaign.
Given his Ghanaian heritage, he still remains eligible to represent Ghana at the international level despite playing for the Canada U20 national youth team.
