Premier League returnees Leicester City have reopened negotiations with Crystal Palace to secure the services of Ghanaian forward Jordan Ayew.
With Ayew entering the final year of his contract at Selhurst Park, Crystal Palace are open to offers for the experienced attacker this summer.
Leicester City have reportedly submitted a £4 million bid for the 32-year-old, who has made 275 appearances for Crystal Palace. Despite interest from several clubs, Leicester's head coach, Steve Cooper, is particularly keen on bringing Ayew to bolster the Foxes' attacking options.
Ayew, who previously played under Cooper at Swansea City, is seen as a valuable addition due to his Premier League experience and international pedigree with Ghana. However, even if the clubs agree on a fee, Leicester will still need to negotiate personal terms with Ayew to complete the transfer.
Jordan Ayew recently featured in Crystal Palace's opening Premier League match against Brentford and continues to train with the team ahead of their upcoming clash with West Ham at Selhurst Park.
