Allsvenskan side Hammarby IF have expressed interest in signing USA-born Ghanaian winger Joe Gyau from fellow elite division side Degerfors IF.
The former TSG Hoffenheim man has been making waves in the Swedish top-flight contest with the Stora Valla Stadium outfit and is now attracting attention from the Stockholm-based club ahead of the next football campaign.
Report filed by Newspaper Sportbladet has indicated that, Degerfors IF have knocked back a bid from their league rivals over the services of their prized asset, with the said offer falling below their valuation for the experienced winger.
It remains to be seen if an improved bid would be tabled again by Hammarby IF in their efforts to secure his services in the foreseeable future.
Gyau joined Degerfors IF on Feb 17, 2022 and as per his transfermarkt valuation, Hammarby IF and the likes must fork out 600,000 euros if they are to land him next term.
The Florida-born versatile winger has 3 caps for the U.S Men's National Team having made his debut on Sep 3, 2014.
