The Ghanaian striker scored his first goal for Slovakia Super League side ŠK Slovan Bratislava in their 2-1 away win at Banská Bystrica to propel his side to the next round of the Slovak Cup.
It was an explosive game for the Sky Blues as they neck-it-down with the newly-promoted topflight club at SNP Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.
Slovan manager Vladimír Weiss handed a starting berth to the Ghanaian youngster, whom he decided to use in centre forward.
After the first 21 minutes of the match, Slovan found themselves ahead when Abubakari gave the Sky Blues the lead before Banská attacking-midfielder Adam Hanes pulled parity 24 minutes later.

Slovan scored their third in the 62nd minute through Serbian winger Aleksandar Čavrić to seal the win as they advanced to the quarter-finals of the Slovak Cup.
The Sky Blues will face ŠTK 1914 Šamorín in the quarter-finals on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at the Pomlé Stadium in Šamorín.
Abubakari was making his first outing after joining Slovan last week Wednesday from Swedish giants Malmö FF on loan till the end of the season.
His compatroit Sharani Zuberu was brought on in the second half as he also made his debut for the Sky Blues.
