Former Ghana international Hamza Mohammed believes Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has the potential to become the long-awaited successor to Ghana legend Abedi Pele.
Speaking to 3Sports, Mohammed described the Leicester City winger as the future of the Black Stars, insisting the 21-year-old possesses the talent needed to fill the creative gap left since Abedi Pele’s era.
"Who knows? Maybe he will be one of the Abedi Peles that we’ve never seen since the legend left the game," Mohammed stated.
Issahaku has impressed this season with eight goals and seven assists, performances Mohammed believes justify the growing expectations around him as Ghana searches for its next transformational star.
