West Ham United's manager, David Moyes, has commended Mohammed Kudus for his outstanding beginning at the club.

The Ghanaian star continued to shine in the Premier League, securing his first brace as West Ham claimed a convincing 3-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers at the London Stadium over the weekend.

At 23, Kudus has notched up nine goals across various competitions for the London-based club, including five in the Premier League.

Reflecting on Kudus' introduction to life in East London, Moyes remarked, "He's made a brilliant start here. I always say it's not easy for players coming over from other leagues to perform well in the Premier League initially."

Moyes continued, "I think he's done great. He's an all-around really good player, and we're really thrilled."

The former Ajax attacker is anticipated to maintain his impressive form when West Ham faces Liverpool in the quarterfinals of the Carabao Cup at Anfield.

However, Mohammed Kudus is expected to be unavailable for West Ham early next year as he gears up to represent the Black Stars at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Ivory Coast.
