Lawrence Ati-Zigi, the Ghanaian goalkeeper, expressed his gratitude after being awarded the Best Goalkeeper of the Year in the Switzerland Super League for the 2022-23 season.
Ati-Zigi, who plays for FC St Gallen in Switzerland, was recognized for his outstanding performances throughout the campaign and was also included in the Team of the Season.

The 26-year-old shot-stopper has been a consistent presence for his team, the Green and Whites, delivering impressive performances in the Swiss top-flight league.
During the season, Ati-Zigi has kept three clean sheets in 30 appearances, showcasing his exceptional skills. He has emerged as one of the key players for his club, demonstrating his importance to the team's success.
Notably, Ati-Zigi has saved two penalty kicks out of the ten he has faced this season, further adding to his impressive record. With a rating of 6.9, he stands out as the best goalkeeper among his peers in the league.
