The Danish top-tier outfit have acquired the talented Ghanaian center-back from their feeder club until the summer of 2031.
Danish SuperLiga side FC Nordjaelland have announced the promising Ghanaian defender Jamal Sudais from Right to Dream Academy on a long-term contract.
Sudais inked a five-year contract with FC Nordjaelland after turning 18 years, having spent several months with the club’s U19 side to adapt to the environment.
The club’s official statement reads: “FC Nordsjælland has signed 18-year-old Ghanaian centre-back Jamal Sudais on a five-year deal. He joins the club from the Right to Dream academy in Ghana, where he joined in 2019 when he was 10 years old."
Jamal is a left-footed central defender who stands out in the landscape. He is skilled with the ball and has good technique, including fine passes forward into the field. He is also good with his head and strong in duels.
The 18-year-old is touted as the next Pique in football following his exploits at the Right to Dream Academy, a club he joined at age 10.
Jamal Sudais expressed his excitement after sealing a dream move to FC Nordjaelland and promised to live up to expectations.
“I have always dreamed of signing a contract with FC Nordsjælland, and I am really looking forward to playing here and developing with the many good players at the club,” he told the club’s official website.
“I already became part of Right to Dream when I was 10 years old, so it will be easy for me to settle in here because I already have many friends here and because I know the style of play."
“My dream is that I can become one of the best players on the FC Nordsjælland team. I hope that I can become one of the players that the fans will remember.”
Jamal is yet to represent Ghana at any level.
