The ex-Manchester City finished article has said he's not much bothered about the incessant links with suitors as he's determined to stay put at the BayArena until the end of the current campaign

Dutch-born Ghanaian defender Jeremie Frimpong has posited that he wants to stay with Bayer Leverkusen, with a focus on annexing the top-flight diadem now a top priority in this ongoing season.

 The 23-year-old high-flying right-back remains the most sought-after defender among Europe's superpowers - with German heavyweights Bayern Munich, Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona as well as English Premier League trio Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City- all being linked with his services ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.

Following a stupendous league outings this term, the former Celtic stopper and his current side are on the verge of clinching the Bundesliga title at the expense of the record league champions after opening a thirteen-point gap in the summit of the table in the league standings so far.

 And now, after heavily linked with Bayern Munich, the high-flying right-back has said he's now focused on winning the Bundesliga title this term, telling Sky Germany: . "I just want to win a title. I'm concentrating on this season because I feel like we can do something big in Leverkusen. My full focus is on Leverkusen

He added: "Bayern Munich is a great team, but Leverkusen is the only thing that counts for me at the moment. I'm a Leverkusen player and I'm so happy that I'm there."

He has so far netted 12 and assisted 11 in 35 games across all competitions for Bayer Leverkusen in this ongoing football season.

The €40m-rated defender has already been capped by the Netherlands senior national team given his Ghanaian heritage.
