Ghana winger Joseph Paintsil continued his blistering performance for LA Galaxy in the Major League Soccer with a goal in their 3-3 stalemate with Saint Louis City FC.
The Los Angeles based outfit were held to a draw by Saint Louis City FC in a fixture which produced six goals at the Dignity Health Sports Park.
The home side took an early lead through Dejan Joveljić, who brilliantly struck a pass from Julián Aude into the bottom right corner in the 3rd minute before Saint Louis City FC levelled in the 27th minute through Tomas Ostrak.
After the break Painstil restored the lead for LA Galaxy on the 51st minute when he pounced on Mark Delgado's ball delivered into the box.
Nine minutes later, the visitors made it 2-2 through Joakim Nilsson before taking the lead courtesy an own goal from John McCarthy in the 88th minute.
Maya Yoshida brought life to LA Galaxy with a stoppage time header from Gastón Brugman’s free-kick to end the contest in a 3-3 draw.
Painstil, who recently joined LA Galaxy on a four-year contract from Belgian giants KRC Genk, has managed to score two goals and provided an assist in 4 appearances for the Los Angeles based club.
