According to renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Juventus has made contact with Arsenal regarding a potential transfer deal for midfielder Thomas Partey.

Partey, who played a crucial role for Arsenal in the previous season as they challenged for the Premier League title, could be sold this summer to generate funds for manager Mikel Arteta.

Despite having two offers rejected by West Ham for Declan Rice, Arsenal is expected to return with a third bid and might be willing to let Partey leave even if they are unable to secure Rice's signature.

There has been interest in Partey from Saudi Arabia, and it is reported that Arsenal has granted him permission to explore a move to the Saudi Pro League, with the Gunners even hoping to make a profit on the midfielder following his £45 million transfer from Atletico Madrid in 2020.

In addition to the Saudi interest, Juventus has now entered the picture as they show interest in signing Partey during this summer transfer window.

There is uncertainty surrounding the future of Adrien Rabiot at Juventus, with the French midfielder's contract set to expire soon and reported interest from Manchester United.

Partey may not be the only midfielder leaving Arsenal this summer, as Granit Xhaka has agreed to join Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga. However, Arsenal is reluctant to let Xhaka go until they secure a replacement for the Swiss international.
