Ghana winger Kamaldeen Sulemana scored his first goal for Atalanta and set up another as they cruised to a 3-0 victory over Torino in Serie A on Sunday.

The 22-year-old, making his fourth league appearance since joining 'La Dea' from Southampton, found the net with a scuffed effort that wrong-footed the Torino goalkeeper to double Atalanta’s lead.

Sulemana then turned provider before half-time, delivering a cross for Nikola Krstovic to convert from close range. He played 87 minutes before being substituted.

Head coach Ivan Juric was full of praise for the Black Stars international afterwards.

“They [Kamaldeen and Krstovic] came in super motivated and Kamaldeen played a great game today both technically in terms of speed and quality but also in the defensive phase which works very well,” Juric told the club’s media.

Sulemana had been left out of Atalanta’s 4-0 Champions League defeat to holders Paris Saint-Germain in midweek but responded in style on his Serie A return.
