The former Right to Dream Academy star has completed a loan switch to the Stozice Stadium outfit in the ongoing transfer window.

Slovenian top-flight league side NK Olimpija Ljubljana have announced the loan signing of Ghanaian attacker Kelvin Ofori from Slovan Bratislava until the end of the 2025–26 season's campaign.

The reigning champions of the Slovenian PrvaLiga secured the signature of the 24-year-old on loan to strengthen their attack in bid to defend their title. The deal has an option to buy clause, which offers NK Olimpija Ljubljana to make the deal permanent at the end of the season.

He has a contract with Slovan Bratislava until the summer of 2028.

The club's official statement reads: “Kelvin Ofori is the new power in Olimpija's attack! The Ghanaian footballer, who plays best on the right wing, will join the Dragons on loan from Slovan Bratislava until the end of the current season. Olimpija has also secured an option to buy.”

Ofori, who was nurtured by the famous Ghanaian -based Right to Dream Academy, scored three goals and provided an assist in 14 league matches for Slovan Bratislava in the first stanza of the Slovakian top-tier league.

His talent was quickly recognized by several Europeans clubs and he was signed by former German Bundesliga campaigners Fortuna Dusseldorf before joining SC Padeborn and later moving the Slovakia to play for Spartak Trnava.

The Kumasi-born winger in an interview with Olimpija media after sealing the loan move expressed his joy and promised to live up to expectations with goals and assists to help the club defend its title.

"I am very happy to have signed for Olimpija. It is a great club that has welcomed me warmly. This season I want to help the team with as many goals and assists as possible, so that at the end of the season we can look forward to winning the cup and qualifying for Europe,” he said.

Ofori added: “As a player, I like one-on-one situations, I am skilled in passing and I finish dangerously in the attacking third. I hope that the fans will soon support us in as many numbers as possible and enjoy attacking football."

Ofori is yet to represent Ghana at any level.
