American-based Ghanaian attacker Kelvin Yeboah registered his eighth goal of the season for Minnesota United in their away loss New England Revolution in the Major League Soccer (MLS) on Sunday.

Minnesota United's winless streak has been extended to three matches following a 2-1 defeat to New England Revolution at the Gillette Stadium.

Yeboah converted a spot-kick in the 26th minute to peck the scoring at 1-1 after the home side had taken a 5th minute lead through a penalty converted by Carles Gil.

Argentina international Luca Langoni restored the lead in the 49th minute to hand New England Revolution all the three maximum points.

He was replaced by Senegal's Mamadou Dieng on the 72nd minute of the game.

Yeboah has been instrumental in this season's campaign, scoring eight goals in 14 appearances.

The 26-year-old has declared his intentions to represent Ghana at the senior level despite turning up for Italy at U21 level.

Yeboah, who is biologically related to Ghana legendary striker Tony Yeboah, made his debut with Italy’s U21 side in 2021.
