Ghana international Kudus Mohammed has won the Ajax Goal of the month of February, the club has announced.

The 22-year-old's stunning free-kick against Sparta Rotterdam in the Dutch Eredivisie last month was voted for him to clinch the accolade.

 
He dedicated the superb free-kick to former Ghana winger Christian Atsu, who was a victim of the tragic earthquake in Turkey last month.

The Black Stars attacking midfielder, who has had a tremendous campaign with the Dutch Eredivisie giants, is winning the award for the second time this season.
 
Kudus Mohammed has notched up 17 goals across all competitions in the ongoing season for Ajax.
 
He has been strongly linked with a move from the Johan Cruyff Arena outfit following his explosive performance this season.
 
The latest speculations has it that, Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag who worked with Kudus at Ajax, is seeking for a reunion with the Ghanaian international at the Old Trafford.
 
AFC Ajax will play as guests to Heerenveen in the next round of matches, and will hope to make the Black Stars squad for the 2023 AFCON qualifiers scheduled for later this month.
