Ghanaian forward Joseph Paintsil is optimistic about the hunger for success among his new teammates at Los Angeles Galaxy FC, suggesting they could outperform many teams if they maintain their current form.
In the ongoing 2024 Major League Soccer season, Paintsil has been a consistent presence, featuring in all three of LA Galaxy's games. While the team has secured only one victory against San Jose Earthquakes, with draws against Inter Miami and Nashville, Paintsil himself has made notable contributions.
He has scored a goal and provided an assist in his initial three appearances for LA Galaxy, including a stunning goal against San Jose Earthquakes and winning a penalty on his debut against Inter Miami.
Speaking to the LA Galaxy website following the win against San Jose, Paintsil expressed confidence in the team's potential for success. "The players are really hungry for success," he stated. "We did everything together and if we keep playing like this, we are really going to kill a lot of clubs, a lot of clubs. Trust me.”
With Paintsil's impressive performances, he remains a strong candidate for selection in the Ghana squad for the upcoming friendlies against Uganda and Nigeria in Morocco.
