Leeds United are reportedly weighing up a January move for in-form Coventry City striker Brandon Thomas-Asante as they look to strengthen their attack for the second half of the campaign.

The Ghanaian forward has been one of the standout performers in the Championship this season, scoring 10 goals in 14 appearances to sit atop the league’s scoring charts. His blistering form has caught the attention of several clubs, with Leeds emerging as one of his most serious suitors.

Thomas-Asante, 26, has built on the promise he showed during his early days at Salford City, where his goal-scoring prowess first drew attention. Since joining Coventry, he has developed into one of the most consistent strikers in the division.

Any deal, however, would not come cheap. The forward remains under contract with Coventry City until 2028, and the Sky Blues are under no pressure to sell. Manager Frank Lampard is said to be determined to keep hold of his top scorer as the club continues its push for Premier League promotion.

Thomas-Asante’s fine domestic form has also translated into international recognition, with the striker expected to feature for Ghana in their upcoming friendlies against Japan and South Korea.
