Ghanaian footballers in abroad were in action over the weekend for their various teams and here’s how some of them perform ahead of the November international window of the 2025/26 season 

ENGLAND

Antoine Semenyo missed a penalty as AFC Bournemouth got pummelled by 4-0 away at Aston Villa last Sunday. 

Still in the Premier League, Kudus Mohammed wasn’t in action for Tottenham Hotspur due to injury in their 2-2 draw against Manchester United. 

In the Championship, Patrick Agyemang was on target for Derby County in their 1-2 away win at Blackburn Rovers. 

At the Carrow Road, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku provided late assist to propel Leicester City to a precious 1-2 win away against Norwich City. 

Joshua Quarshie made a cameo appearance for Southampton in their emphatic 3-1 victory over Sheffield Wednesday. 

Brandon Thomas-Asante lasted the entire duration for Coventry in their narrow 0-1 away win over Stoke City. 

Kwadwo Baah was in action while James Abankwa warmed the bench for Watford who drew 1-1 against Bristol City. 

In the League 2, Jojo Wollacott was in goal for Crawley Town in their 2-1 win over Fleetwood Town.

Kwasi Sibo was introduced in the last five minutes for Real Oviedo in their 1-0 away loss at Athletic Club. Inaki Williams was out for the host due to injury. 

Joseph Aidoo was an unused substitute for Celta Vigo in their 2-4 home loss to giants FC Barcelona. 

Thomas Partey enjoyed full throttle for Villarreal who won 0-2 away against RCD Espanyol.

GERMANY

Ernest Poku scored and assisted in Bayer Leverkusen’s emphatic 6-0 win over Heidenheim in the Bundesliga. 

Ransford Yeboah Konigsdorffer scored a late equalizer to salvage a pulsating 1-1 draw for Hamburger SV against Borussia Dortmund. 

Both Ilyas Ansah and Derrick Kohn were all in action for Union Berlin who did an incredible job for Union Berlin who held high-flying Bayern Munich to a 2-2 draw. 

Nikolas Nartey was introduced in the second half for Stuttgart who won 3-2 against Augsburg. 

In the Bundesliga II, Benjamin Boakye lasted the entire duration for Arminia Bielefeld in their 4-0 win over Kaiserslautern. 

Patric Pfeiffer lasted the entire duration for Darmstadt in their 2-3 away win against Hannover 96. 

Jan Gyamera played 62 minutes for Elversberg in their painful 1-0 defeat away at Shalke O4. 

Maxwell Gyamfi and Richmond Tachie were all in action for FC Kaiserslautern who suffered a 0-1 home loss at Hertha Berlin. 

Moritz Kwarteng was in action for VfL Bochum in their 0-2 away loss at Eintracht Braunschweig.

Nathaniel Adjei was an unused substitute for FC Lorient in their thrilling 1-1 draw against Abu Francis’ Toulouse FC

In the Ligue 2, Augustine Boakye was on target for Saint Etienne who suffered a 2-3 away win at ES Troyes.

In the Eredivise, Kamal Sowah made a cameo appearance for NAC Breda in their 2-1 away defeat to FC Volendam. 

Jayden Oduro was in goal for AZ Alkmaar in their 1-5 defeat to PSV Eindhoven. Ibrahim Sadiq was an unused substitute. 

PORTUGAL 

In the Primera Liga, Nelson Abbey played all minutes for Rio Ave in their pulsating 1-1 draw against Alverca. 

BELGIUM

In the Jupiler Pro League, Lawrence Agyekum was in action for Cercle Brugge in their 1-2 win over Davis Opoku’s OH Leuveb. 

Jerry Afriyie enjoyed full throttle for ten-man Raal La Louviere who lost 3-1 away against Royal Antwerp. 

Desmond Acquah warmed the bench for FCV Dender who got held to a 2-2 draw by Zulte Waregem. 

TURKEY

Jesurun Rak-Sakyi was in action for Rizespor in their 2-2 draw against Emmanuel Boateng’s Gaziantep FK in the Super Lig. 

Center-back Nicholas Opoku lasted the entire duration for Kasimpasa in their 0-2 home defeat to Goztepe. 

Daniel Agyei was on target for Kocaelispor in their important 1-0 win over champions Galatasaray. 

Aaron Opoku registered an assist but wasn’t enough for Kayserispor who lost 4-2 away against Fenerbahce. 

Prince Obeng Ampem played just 58 minutes for Eyupspor in their narrow 1-0 defeat away at Samsunspor

Lawrence Ati-Zigi was in post for FC ST Gallen in their 1-4 home loss to FC Young Boys. 

In the Challenge League, both Daniel Afriyie Barnieh and Dave Acquah were all in action for FC Aarau who got destroyed by 5-1 away at Bellinzona. 

SERBIA

In the Superliga, ex- King Faisal winger Zubairu Ibrahim made a cameo feature for FK Partizan in their 2-0 victory over Novi Pazar. Skima Togbe sustained an injury in the game. 

Former Asekem FC star Douglas Owusu scored in Radnik Surdulica’s 1-0 win over OFK Beograd. Sadick Abubakar had a descent game while Edmond Addo was also in action for the visitors. 

Ibrahim Mustapha was in action for Vojvodina in their crucial 0-1 win away at Radnicki Nis. 

Former Black Starlet defender Abdul Razak Yusif and Kweku Karikari featured for FK Zeleznicar in their 2-0 home win over Javor. Ibrahim Tanko and Francis Antwi Bosiako were all in action also for the visitors. 

Osei Kwaku Bonsu Gaucho was on target for Spartak Subotica in their painful 2-3 home loss to giants Red Star Belgrade. Abdul Shama Kudu warmed the bench. 

Daniel Akrofi warmed the bench for IMT who drew 1-1 against TSC.

In the Norwegian topflight, Leonard Owusu was on target for Fredrikstad in their 0-2 away win at Michael Opoku’s Sarpsborg 08. 

Nana Kwame Boakye excelled for Brann in their 1-1 draw against KFUM Oslo. David Gyedu warmed the bench for the losing side. 

James Ampofo watched on from the bench for Stroemsgodset in their 2-1 away loss at Kristiansund BK. 

CZECH REPUBLIC 

Patrick Kpozo and Dennis Owusu were all not in action for Banik Ostrava in their slim 0-1 home loss to Jablonec. 

Benjamin Nyarko was a second half substitute for Teplice in their huge 2-2 draw away at Sparta Prague. 

Newly-invited Black Stars striker Prince Kwabena Adu wasn’t in Viktoria Plzen’s squad this weekend in their 3-5 home defeat to Slavia Praha 

AUSTRIA

In the Bundesliga, Beres Owusu enjoyed full throttle for Grazer AK in their 2-1 away defeat to Kelvin Boateng’s Austria Wien. 

Paul Mensah wasn’t in action for BW Linz in their 2-1 defeat to SV Ried. 

Eric Ofori Agyemang made a cameo feature for Wolfsberger AC in their 1-2 loss to TSV Hartberg. 

Edmund Baidoo played 83 minutes for Red Bull Salzburg in their 1-1 away draw at Sturm Graz. 

GREECE

In the Greek Super League, Baba Rahman played all minutes in PAOK FC’s 2-1 defeat to Panathinaikos. 

DENMARK 

Both Caleb Yirenkyi and Prince Amoako Junior were all in action for FC Nordsjaelland in their 2-0 defeat to Noah Nartey’s Broendby IF. 

USA

In the MLS Playoffs, Kelvin Obeng played only 56 minutes for Minnesota United in their emphatic 3-0 win over Seattle Sounders.
