Former Asante Kotoko captain, Richard Boadu 'Agadas' has revealed that he was presented with an offer by the Libyan Football Federation to renounce his Ghanaian citizenship and play for their national team.



However, the 26-year-old who is in the books of Libya's Al-Tahaddi Sports Club remained resolute as he turned down the offer - reiterating his commitment to aspiring to play for the Black Stars.



“When I came here, they tried to get me to naturalise for Libya, but I declined. It’s not about the money; I am Ghanaian. I also want to represent my country and feel pride,” Boadu 'Agadas' told Fakye TV.



The former Medeama SC midfielder has not received a call up from the Black Stars but stays determined that his impressive performances will make the Black Stars of Ghana team officials to notice him and dolls out a call up to him.
