According to CaughtOffside, the Reds are among the clubs that are monitoring the progress of the Ghana-prospect defender with the Blues in a bid to reinforce their defensive department with his signing in the summer.
Aside Liverpool, Europe's superpowers including Real Madrid, Newcastle United and Borussia Dortmund are all believed to be great admirers of the 19-year-old lanky defender given his versatility on the field of play.
lt's believed that Chelsea will be demanding a transfer fee in the region of €25-30 million for their prized asset and current interested suitors are to fork out the figures if they are to land him in the summer given his contract which is due to expire in 2029.
Acheampong has so far taken in 24 appearances by netting 2 times for Chelsea across all competitions in this current football season.
Given his Ghanaian heritage, the budding star remains eligible to represent Ghana on the international stage at the senior level despite playing for the England national youth teams.
