The 22-year-old is in dilemma over his future with the Sky Blue ahead of the new football season in the Swedish top-flight having returned from loan spell in the summer

Ghanaian centre-forward Malik Abubakari has stated that he doesn't know what the future holds for him with Allsvenskan side Malmo FF ahead of the start of the 2023 football campaign.

Having returned from a loan stint with Finnish outfit HJK Helsinki, the bulky forward is now having his future hanging in the balance with his parent club as the new season is fast approaching.

Malik has so far failed to establish himself as a first-teamer in Malmo FF first team ranks since making his transfer move from Portuguese outfit Moreirense in 2021.

Ahead of the start of the new football campaign, the former Vizela U-19 man is now unsure about his future at MFF, telling Fotbollskanalen: "I do not know. I don't know the actual plan the club has for me. I just try to focus, work hard and be in good shape. Tomorrow something can change. I came back fresh and happy and have been working to stay in shape. We'll see what the future holds, if I get the chance. Right now I don't know,"

The Charity Stars FC product current deal with Malmo FF will run out on Dec 31, 2025 and he is yet to be capped by Ghana at the men's senior national team, the Back Stars.
