The Portuguese second division side are reportedly set to secure the services of the former Ghana U20 star ahead of the closure of the ongoing summer transfer window

Ghanaian forward Mohammed Dauda is on the verge of completing a move to Liga Portugal 2 club Portimonense SC from Spanish third-tier side CD Tenerife, an emerging report from the Portuguese media has indicated.

The 27-year-old former RSC Anderlecht man is set to team up with the former top-flight outfit, with talk of negotiation in its advanced stage between both parties over the transfer move this summer.

Per Portuguese tabloid The Record, those in charge of the Estádio Municipal de Portimão will land the former Vitesse Arnhem loanee in the coming days in order to fill the void left by Colombian forward Camilo Durán who joined Azerbaijan giants Qarabag in this current transfer market.

With a year left on his current running contract with CD Tenerife, the deal is likely to be on a permanent basis as the Spanish outfit cannot afford to lose him on a free transfer next term.

Dauda is yet to earn his cap with the Ghana Senior National Team on the international stage after featuring for the Ghana U20 and U23 national teams respectively.
