The Moldovan Super Liga outfit have completed the loan signing of the two Ghanaian players from Al Hilal Omdurman for the remainder of the season.

Ghanaian duo David Abagna Sanda and Seidu Basit have officially joined Moldovan top-flight league side FC Petrocub Hîncești until end of the 2023/24 season's campaign.

The Stadionul Municipal Hîncești bolstered their squad list with the acquisition of the two attackers from Sudanese heavyweights Al Hilal Omdurman as part of their partnership with the club.

Earlier this week, a delegation of FC Petrocub Hîncești led by the club's newly-appointed President, Nana Yaw Amponsah signed a strategic partnership deal with Al Hilal in Saudi Arabia.

Seidu Basit, 19, was signed by Al Hilal on a four-year contract in July 2023 from Ghana Premier League side Accra Lions for an undisclosed fee.

He was acquired following his scintillating performances for Lions during the 2022/23 season's campaign, where he notched up seven goals and provided two assists in 23 games.

Also, Abagna Sanda joined Al Hilal Omdurman on three-year deal from Real Tamale United after remarkable output in the Ghana Premier League which earned him a call-up to be part of the Black Stars at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon and the 2023 Championship of African Nations in Algeria.

Seidu Basit and David Abagna Sanda will be spending the remainder of the 2023/24 season with FC Petrocub Hîncești in the Moldovan Super Liga.

Both players will be unveiled at the Stadionul Municipal Hîncești as the new signings of the Hîncești based club next week.

The Moldovan club already have former Black Stars and Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Razak Abalora in their fold, signing him on loan from FC Sheriff in the recently ended transfer window.

FC Petrocub Hîncești currently occupies the second spot on the 2023/24 Moldovan top-flight league with 28 points after match-week 14, chasing for their maiden title.

The Black and Whites are just six points adrift league leaders FC Sheriff that sits on top of the log with 34 points.
