The 19-year-old teenage sensation of Ghanaian origin has completed his move to the Austrian top-flight outfit from the German superpower side
German-born Ghanaian centre-back Hendry Blank has joined Austrian Bundesliga side RB Salzburg from German Bundesliga heavyweights Borussia Dortmund, the club have announced.
The youngster has inked a four-year contract with the Red Bull Arena campaigners, with the deal set to run until June 30, 2028.
"We are delighted to announce the signing of a young defender with great potential! 19-year-old German Hendry Blank is joining from Borussia Dortmund and has signed a contract running until 30 June 2028," a confirmation over the long-term contract of the former Bayer Leverkusen youth man read.
The Ghana-prospect teenager expressed his satisfaction over the move right after appending his signature to the deal, telling the club's official website: " I am pleased that the negotiations went so well, and that I am now a FC Red Bull Salzburg player. Everything I have seen from the club so far has been extremely positive. One of my aims is to develop like so many young players have before me and use the chances that you get here. I can hardly wait now to meet my new team-mates and introduce myself to the fans. I would like to play my part in helping the club achieve its aims and win as many titles as possible."
Born and bred in Germany to Ghanaian parents, the teenager remains eligible to switch allegiance and represent Ghana at the international level having featured for the Germany U20 national youth team.
