Ghanaian midfielder Alex Agyarkwa has joined Malaysian Super League side Negeri Sembilan FC on a season-long loan from Selangor FC.

The 24-year-old, known for his physicality, and vision in midfield, is expected to bolster Negeri Sembilan’s squad ahead of the upcoming Malaysia Super League campaign. The move comes as the club looks to strengthen its spine after a challenging start to the season.

Agyarkwa made nine appearances for Selangor last term, showing glimpses of his tactical awareness and ball progression despite limited opportunities. Prior to his stint in Malaysia, he played for Accra Lions in the Ghana Premier League and lower-tier side Phar Rangers.

“The club hereby announce the arrival of Alex Agyarkwa at Paroi on loan from Selangor FC for a season,” Negeri Sembilan announced on their official social handles. “Alex's presence has certainly been at stake to strengthen #TheJangs' midfielder to face this season's rivals. Welcome to Paroi, Alex Agyarkwa.”

The Ghanaian lynchpin is expected to bring balance and energy to the midfield, offering both defensive cover and attacking support for the Paroi-based club.
