Black Stars guardsman Nicholas Opoku is beaming with excitement after playing in Ghana's 3-1 win over Liberia on Tuesday.
Ghana welcomed the Lone Stars to the Accra Sports Stadium and pummeled them in an international friendly match.
Opoku, who was not included in Chris Hughton's starting line-up against Central African Republic last Thursday, was named amongst the starters alongside Joseph Aidoo, Alexander Djiku and Hamidu Fatawu in defence, much to the delight of the Amiens centre-back.
"A win for us, a win for the . Always a great feeling playing for my country. Thanks for your support and prayers! We keep soaring high like the eagle," Opoku punched on his official X handle.
