 The Norwegian second-tier side have announced the signing of the Ghanaian defender in this ongoing transfer window

 Norwegian-born Ghanaian centre-back Eirik Asante Gayi has joined Norwegian First Division side Sandnes Ulf from Swedish lower division outfit lK Brage, the club have confirmed.

The 23-year-old defender joins the Øster Hus Arena campaigners for the rest of the ongoing 2024/25 football campaign in the 1. Division contest. 

The Rogaland-based club took to their social media handles to announce the capturing of the 23-year-old defender, stating; "✍️Eirik Asante Gayi (23) ready for the light blues! The physical and fast centre-back, who is originally an Odd product, comes from playing in Brage in the Superettan in Sweden. Now he will fight and fight for us. ⚒️

 Given his Ghanaian parentage, he still remains eligible to play for Ghana at the international level.
